Why Mongolia Intelligence exists.
Mongolia has data. Mongolia has news. What Mongolia does not yet have — for the people deciding capital, exposure, partners, and posture — is a dedicated institutional intelligence layer that translates the country's economic, commodity, banking, and policy reality into decision-useful reads.
Mission
Build the most trusted institutional intelligence platform on Mongolia's economy, markets, finance, policy, and business environment — and keep it honest about what we know and what we don't.
Why now
Mining cycles, commodity volatility, MNT pressure, sovereign and bank balance sheet dynamics, and an active policy environment make Mongolia consequential for the institutions exposed to it. None of these things are well served by promotional content or generic country reports.
What Mongolia Intelligence is not.
- Not a news site. We do not run a news desk, and we do not race headlines.
- Not PR. We do not write promotional content for companies, sectors, or political actors.
- Not free-content media. We do not optimise for clicks. Premium intelligence is paid because it's expensive to produce honestly.
- Not a consultancy retainer. Enterprise engagements are bounded research and briefings, not open-ended advisory mandates.
Editorial independence
Coverage decisions, framing, and conclusions are not influenced by membership, subjects of analysis, or potential clients. We disclose material relationships that could be perceived as conflicts. We do not coordinate with parties whose decisions our work might affect.
Research standards
- · Primary sources where possible; clearly cited otherwise
- · Separate what we know from what we infer
- · Show the chain of reasoning, not just the conclusion
- · Quantify uncertainty when we can — name it when we can't
- · Correct errors openly and quickly
Why I'm building Mongolia Intelligence
Founder note placeholder. A short, signed statement on motivation and posture will live here — what this platform is meant to be, and what it refuses to become.
Editorial team
Contributor placeholder. Named analysts — covering mining, macro, banking, and policy — will be listed here as the editorial team is brought on.
How we use AI — and what we never use it for.
Mongolia Intelligence is human-edited. AI may assist with translation, draft summaries, and source classification — but it never auto-publishes.
- Human editorial review. Every published briefing, report, and signal is approved by an editor before it goes live.
- AI as assistive only. AI helps with translation, drafting, and classification only. It has no publish permission.
- Source attribution preserved. Every signal preserves its original publisher name and link back to the source.
- Public feed review gate. Only items an editor has explicitly reviewed and approved reach the public intelligence feed.
- Premium report standard. Pro and Enterprise reports are analyst and editor reviewed. AI is never used to fabricate quotations, invent source URLs, or assert claims that are not separately verified.
When we make mistakes, we correct them openly and quickly.
The weekly Mongolia Intelligence briefing.
One signal-heavy email per week: what moved in mining, macro, banking, and policy — and what it means for decisions.
